As we look back over this past year, our first thought is that God is so very good. Last year at this time we wrote asking for your support as we sought to create a space to help further our mission of strengthening the role of faith in the life of New Jersey women of all ages. With your support, this dream has become a reality. First, we have found a space in Bernardsville. While we still are actively looking for a similar space in South Orange, our new home allows us to begin to expand our programs. It also gives concrete expression to our vision.
We still need many items to complete the space including floor lamps, pictures, one or two Queen Ann chairs, and items to stock a kitchen and bath.
In addition to finding and setting up the space, 2016 has been a year of great success both in reaching out to new women and girls and in adding new programs, including our five-day summer day camp for girls ages 6 to 10.
With your help, we can make 2017 even better! In the New Year, we plan to develop the number of programs including hosting more workshops like our recent and very successful "Wine and Cheese Pairing 101." Some of these events will be "on the road" in the Bergen County area. We also hope to increase our summer day camp to 50 girls and broaden the age range of girls who can attend. We have already expanded our Basking Ridge Mother-Daughter Club to Grades 1-6.
None of this would be possible without your volunteering spirit, prayers and your generous financial contributions! On behalf of all the women and girls we serve, we would like to sincerely thank you for your past and future support.
We invite all who are interested in our efforts at Glenwood to take a look at our new monthly giving program for 2017. Enroll today and become a Glenwood Partner to help us sustain our programs and grow. Whether you can commit to $10 a month, $200 a month, or anything in between, your monthly pledge will allow us to plan with confidence and expand our outreach to women of all ages. Think of what we could do if everyone donated just a $1.00 a day; less than a cup of coffee! We will be mailing pledge cards shortly. Please prayerfully consider making a pledge before the end of the year. All contributions are tax deductible as Princeton Women's Cultural Center, our corporate sponsor, is a 501(c) (3) corporation.
Thank you again and know that we pray for you and your intentions every day.
